Vet clinic issue

Hi, I've built a vet clinic and had my family purchase it. The problem is every time I leave the lot or go into CAS, my staff are reset.  I have to re-hire them every time, even after changing uniform (which doesn't save).

I've got all packs and no cc/mods.  My laptop isn't the issue as its freshly formatted Alienware 🙂  I've reinstalled the sims and refreshed my game save already and am literally out of ideas ☹️ .

Any help would be appreciated.
