    Hello,

What would be your ideal budget for this computer? I should be able to help you further using this information 😕mileyhappy:

I hope this helps and keep simming,

  • Well I don't want any thing too high but nothing so cheap that the pc will show poor graphic quality. I just want a decent pc with good graphics and won't be so slow and laggy.

The problem with the Sims 4 is this seems to be a game that requires more then a student computer. A mid level gaming computer with a dedicated graphics chip should be just fine.

    Such as What?

You are posting in a more than two year old thread.

  • A two (now three) year old thread with remaining relevance, my friend.

I was wondering "such as" myself, and was pretty disappointed that there were no direct suggestions to look at. If anyone has a suggestion of particular laptops that would do a good job (for a fair price) of running Sims 4/Expansions/Custom Content, I feel they would be welcomed here, as this thread still comes up when Googling the topic in question.

Hi @TempleAssassin, welcome to Answers HQ!

Taking a look at threads with recent recommendations, these might be helpful:

Would that be what you are looking for? If not, you might want to open your own thread asking for the specifics that would fit your personal needs, as there's a lot to consider when buying a new computer. For example, which is your price range and what will you use the computer for other than playing The Sims 4? If you are planning to travel with it a lot, for example, weight would be important.

There are sooooo many computers out there that if you have a specific one in mind, that would be easier. Also, in this particular case, having a recent thread is better than posting on an old one - technology evolves really fast and what's recommended today will be different in a couple months! 😉

    Cheers,

    -Mai
