I don’t have access to the karate and ballet hobbies

Question

I have the community centre building unlocked and I have preteens, I should have have access to the karate and ballet hobbies but for some reason I dont and every time I use the hobby interactive items, the sim will do the hobby but the hobby badge is grey and I can’t see the hobby icons in the hobby menu, or see the collection for the hobby.

could someone tell me how I fix this or what to do about this?

There is no collection card for ballet and karate. Your preteens can do the hobbies, and while leveling up the first time they get nice prizes. E.g. a ballerina lamp, poster, wallpaper and some more. Karate gives similar prizes.
If they start over they get XP and possibly simoleons.
