Need help troubleshooting Cannot update/use Sims Free Play
I cannot update my Sims FreePlay without the error message attached popping up. The second picture shows how it will be mostly updated and start downloading but then immediately show the error message.
Will not let me go to Sims Free play settings in app. The only thing I haven’t done is delete the app off my phone and reinstall it completely but I’m worried because I can’t get confirmation if it’s been backed up and I haven’t played in several months.
steps taken:
- Restarted phone & hard turned off device
- offloaded app and reloaded app
- offloaded Safari
- toggled WiFi on and off
- connected to different WiFi’s
- updated phone software
- Confirmed enough phone storage available
- I tried seeing if my Sims was connected to my Facebook, which it was last, but it’s now not showing.
