Hey. I accidentally saw your post, but I feel I have to reply. I think your focus is a bit misplaced. I am a 6"1' chubby female, and I absolutely DO NOT feel misrepresented, as I think these little Sims are just symbols, and this IS just a game, not an exact mirror to reality. I actually think it might become even dangerous if it started to become an exact replica of the reality, as some users might completely disconnect from it. And in a world of AI, social media, scrolling, shorts, that is the last thing we need.
I too started playing this game way back, in 1014, and i know the world has changed a lot, and I do see where you're coming from, but I think there's a line you need not cross.
For storytelling there are other options, such as the desktop versions, that are more inclusive with bodytypes, and more versatile with the storytelling itself.
I didn't mean to be offensive in any way, but I just love the game as it is, I don't believe any changes are needed.
Hello dear, it's nice to see your opinion on this. We did have a sims mobile that had all this stuff already but it was deleted by ea. Note that a mobile game is much easier to play during office lunch breaks. The body types update is for creating diverse sims even if you don't see it necessary many other players would love to see themselves in their sims avatar. Maybe you too will update your sim avatar to look much curvy if you love your body type and had the option. But as for me playing since 11 years, I have noticed that this body and camera update is coming sooner or later, with new competitions in the market and a new generation playing the sims freeplay an update in the game on this aspect is necessary.
