Sim chase toast not credited, makes me fall behind and lose

For the past two or three sim chases, there have been occasions early on where the tasks for one or two sims, when they were completed; did not get counted or credited. I know that I had the correct amount of sims performing the tasks. I triple check. But on occasion, it doesn’t count them. It’s usually early on and then I have to start another 4 hour (3.8 hr) task and then I end up finishing after the other person and I’m behind the whole time, when I could have won. It stinks and is unfair that this keeps happening.
