Sims Watching Corner Tv’s From Floor Instead of Sofa: Bug

For some reason, the L shaped sofa and the corner tv do not partner well when I try to get my sims to watch tv. I’ve had issues with the corner tvs before and it did fix itself but now it is bugged again unfortunately.

My sims for some unknown reason, decide to sit on the floor even though there is a perfectly good sofa right there. I’ve moved both items a few times but I have no idea why it isn’t letting them sit on the sofa to watch tv. Before anyone says, I’ve even rearranged the side table and the single seater chair and it doesn’t work either, they just sit on the floor LOL. It’s definitely not blocked off because they can stand INFRONT of the sofa so I’m not sure why they seem to think it’s against the rules to sit on it 😭 anyway, it’s not a major deal, it’s just a simple thing that bothers me
