As of right now I'm going to say it's very unlikely and that's coming from a player that owns all packs to date.
I am a bit of a completionist but the sheer amount of content that's likely to be pumped through this store is probably going to be overwhelming and I still have so much content I haven't even touched in my game.
I also really don't like the idea of virtual currency - I hated this in The Sims 3 days - and the content showcased so far seems to more modern run-of-the-mill themes that seems geared towards a particular player type that isn't me (although Reader's Nook and Rustic Nest so look charming) - I crave fantasy and whimsy and rely heavily on the beautiful work of CC creators for some of the fantastic content already in my game and I don't see this changing any time soon.
I think for the time being I am going to sit back and see how things unfold in the coming months with the Marketplace and the franchise more widely.
If what's been rumoured about Project X is true, I also am reticent to continue to pump money into the game.
I have absolutely no intention of moving to another game and having to restart with DLC (I'd only be tempted if all existing DLC was ported over but that's very unlikely). No, I will continue enjoy my The Sims 4 game using all of the features and utilising the variation of mods I have to provide the depth I so desire in my life simming.

Most likely, not.
I gave up on Kits 40 kits ago, so I have no reason to engage in this content system.
There is going to have to be some really incredible content for me to purchase Moola. If EA allows us to create custom collections in Build/Buy mode. I might consider it. I have so much content already, it's difficult to find my favorite stuff.

I really don't think I will purchase from the marketplace. I feel that this is just a huge money pull. I've got nothing against modders, heck, I use mods all the time and love them. But micro transactions are not something I can support.

To be fair this is not really cc . Its like creator kits , there making stuff to be use in the game.

NO!
- I hate being seen as a money making machine and this makes me feel like one.
- I hate microtransactions and this is it
- I don't like the idea that I need to buy in game currency that I can then use to buy something, which will then be left in my "wallet" so that I will buy more. It's a scam. I don't want to be scammed.
- The products I've seen are horribly overpriced (three pair of shoes for half the price of a kit with 25 objects? Seriously? That's insulting my intelligence.)
So, yesterday, I bought the last three kits I am likely to ever buy. It's not as if I need more new content.

No. I don't like the idea of having to purchase virtual currency in order to buy content. I bought the last 2 kits on my wishlist today while they were still available to purchase directly. I won't be purchasing any future kits.

Where do you see the objects? I thought this wasn't available yet.

It probably won't be marked as CC, same way as creator kits. But in game you can usually tell which is Maxis made and which is creator made stuff, because the art style is different.

No, I will not be buying anything from this marketplace. Instead of a potentially interesting game feature to make custom content more accessible to all players, like several other games do, we are clearly getting a disingenuous cash grab. If it were about the players and the sims community, there would not be predatory virtual currency and the "Makers" would not recieve ONLY 30% of sales. This should be offensive to all Simmers.
Since before the buyout I had started focusing on enjoying the packs I already owned, becuse the amount of content was getting insanely overwhelming. I continued with my purchasing hiatus once the change in ownership was announced because I wanted to see how this would effect the future of the game. Decisions like this Martketplace only push me closer to never purchasing any Sims branded content ever again.
I understand that companies need to make money, but they also need to maintain an enjoyable and trustworthy product. If this marketplace was about the players, there would not be virtual currency and the Makers would recieve a much larger cut. - 777Chariot5 days agoSeasoned Newcomer
I will not be making any purchases from the market place. I despised the Sims 3 store for the same reason that I am appalled at even the thought of a Sims 4 store, more micro-transactions and scamming people.
I get all my CC and mods for free and I support the creators of those through patreon, so why would I want to pay for something I could get for free elsewhere while also donating my money to the creators that I like?
I also make my own CC and share it for others to have for free. The fact the creators for the market place are only getting 30% for their work is just plain wrong. And console players are basically forced to buy something that PC players have been getting for free for a very long time, which is basically a "selling water in the desert" kind of scam.
