Bugs - How to report them

- This thread has now been locked, as it's an old version. Please, read this instead -

We do our best when developing our games, but we know things are not always going to work as they should. Have you found any issue in The Sims Mobile? Use Bug Reports forum to let us know!

What is a bug?

A bug, or software error, is when the game doesn't behave as we intended.

What is not a bug?

If you have issues installing the game, get an error message, the game crashes, etc., then please create your thread in the Technical issues board. In most cases, these issues are not bugs.

If you are not sure what you are experiencing is a bug or not, don't worry - you can open a thread either on Technical issues or Bug reports boards, and it will be moved if needed. Please, don't open the same thread in both boards.

First, try to use the search bar - it might be another player has already reported the same issue, and it's better if you add your information to their thread so all the information is in the same place.

Can't find anything similar and you want to let us know about the error?

In that case, it's time to use the 'New post' button and fill the form to let us know about the bug.

     Hi, 

    My screen freezes within 5 minutes of playing it. I have contacted customer support and have tried the usual solutions like rebooting, uninstalling, etc. Nothing seems to work. I also tried playing my account on another device and it froze too. I have also tried using my friend's account on my phone but it seems to work fine.

    Did you contact them on here or through the game?  Sometimes if a bug i report on here doesn’t get fixed and I have already contacted EA directly, i will post both on the bug report that i made on here alerting Admin t the fact that it is still an issue and go to my open cases in my profile and contact EA again letting them know too.  It usually gets resolved with an update if its an issue affecting many.

  • I dunno if this would be a bug or not but I noticed the party level up seamed to be all glitchy.i went to another party before this one and it leveled up just fine. The next party had this wrong with it. it didn't seam to go up like it normally does to get to the next one. It just stayed at 1 no matter what I did. I clicked the side tab (telling what parties are going on, seeing ur boost, etc.) And the party was at level 2, almost at 3. Then I got a notification the party leveled up but instead of showing level 2 it was at 3. And it seams like each level up has more to go through to get to the next one. Ex: 2,500 - 3,500 but it's 2,500 -2,699 and then another 100 until u get to the next level. I sadly can't show it because the file is too big.

    It could be a bug, but I suggest waiting and seeing if you see this happen more often before actually reporting the bug.

    My sim in sims mobile has had a beanie on for a couple weeks , and just appeared about a week or 2 after I downloaded the game. I haven’t even unlocked hats yet. Is there a way I can get it off without deleting and redownloading the app?

  • Hello, Can I submit my issues here? Because I'm already filled out everything, and when I want to click submit, nothing is happen. I already try refresh again and again and the result stil the same ☹️. I'm tired to filled it again over and over again. (sorry if my english is quite bad, I'm trying the best as I could be). Can you help me how to fix it?

    On my the sims mobile (IOS, Iphone) , in downtown. I have 2 issues here :

    1. There two sims of fashion shop standing there and doing nothing in bussiness building. It's been there (i think about a month). It's a little bit annoying and creepy. (screensnhot no.2)

    2. In downtown feel so desert. No sims come here at all. Even in remixology building, there are no sims, feel like abandoned building. (screenshot no.1)

    I already update the game.
