Can't collect reward from Eco Workshop

Product: The Sims Mobile
Platform:iOS
List the specific devices you play with (e.g. iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7) Ipad
OS Version 15.7
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? One sim is stuck in the Eco Workshop. The sim at the bottom of the screen has a pink tick. When I tap on the sim it says "I completed Workshop Shift at Parkside" and "Go There". When I tap on "Go There" the game crashes.
What do you expect to see? I expect to tap on "Go There" and go to the Eco Workshop, collect the reward without the game crashing and to continue playing that sim. At present I can only play the three other sims.

The fault first occurred Friday17 May after I had hosted a party at another lot the previous day and set my sims to do different tasks overnight.

    There is a workaround that you could try:

    1. Do not tap on your Sim's portrait as it will make the game crash. Instead, summon the Sim who is stuck to Parkside via something like interacting with the plants outside the workshop (tend, talk to, etc.)
    2. Let it idle for a couple minutes on the Parkside screen
    3. Hard restart your game (go to the app switcher and close it)
    4. Launch the game again
    5. Upon relaunch, try to tap on your Sim's portrait to end the shift.

    Thank you for your suggestions. I'm reluctant to leave my home lot and go to Parkside - another player who had the same bug, after changing locations a number of times, now can't open her game at all. I can still play my game to a certain extent - I can host parties on my home lot, and complete the daily tasks I can do there.

    I did contact EA support who eventually said there was No Fix. Is it possible to get my game rolled back to before the bug or are EA not doing this any more?

    @kaleen86 I believe they are still doing a roll back when they can't fix an issue that prevents you from playing the game.
