When in doubt. Reboot. Or at least leave the app, close it from the menu and try again. Only guessing.

Same thing. Tried to visit a friend that had dropped two Valentines for me and can't visit because the game says they haven't updated. How did they send me the cards then? :?

i have the same issues :(and what is with some things in the game costing millions of dollars? how do you even get that much with out jail breaking it ???

Quite easy to do. I'm not JB'd, but can get to over 2m in less than a week if I play regularly.

There was an iOS update yesterday. Perhaps that is somehow messing up the version check. FWIW, I have updated to iOS 6.1.

I have an ipod3, which won update to IOS6 or 6.1.

It still loaded the update and let me in.

No, I requested to be added by several folks. Out of the five that accepted me, I was only able to visit one.

Can't visit people who have updated either. But they can visit me. Annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wish they would stop introducing a third currency every time theres a special event. It's a huge pain the *. Just leave all items at cash or donuts! I mean they introduce the scratch cards at the Kwik-E-Mart where you win cash, but 90 % of the new content is purchased through hearts. The cash is pretty much useless especially for people who maxed their level.

This isn't true, I accepted requests from people and I can't visit their towns. So that's not really the problem/solution.

Well out of 99 friends i can only visit 2 besides other springfield also. This sucks a$$!!!

That happened to me too. Added people from that thread, and can't visit them. Have rebooted a few times. Hopefully there are just delays on the servers

I've had at least 20 friends visit me so far. I've tried to visit the people who have visited me however, I can only visit 3 out of my 100 friends. Note: I have not updated my iOS yet. My question is are people going to the App Store and doing the app update or are they just opening up the game and getting an update and think that's all they have to do? I can't remember but for the Christmas update I think all we had to do was start the game and we got the update automatically. I just don't understand why people can visit me but I can't visit them. I'm grateful for all the hearts but I wish I could return the favor.

Yup, this is happening to me. Very annoying because my friend can go on my Springfield and do stuff but I can't go on anyone else's. I hope this is fixed soon because I am frustrated.
