[EA confirmed] Major Bug with % Premium Items. DONT BUY THEM - THEY DONT WORK!

By the way, a couple of your calculations are off. According to the numbers you provide, the skinner Mensa meeting is only a 3.7 increase, not 11% and the first three you listed are a 4.3% increase (ok, just nitpicking on those :D )

I am guessing you are looking at the star rating window, which will only say you are receiving up to a 5% bonus. The bonus granted by premium items is in addition to that and is not listed anywhere. The only way to determine the bonus you are (or should be) receiving is to do what the guy did in the first post and total them up.

thanks for the replay and the proof that something is going on here.

and special thanks to hellokenney, who corrected my math. I just corrected the post above for the correct numbers.

What it seams like - that it is totally ignoring the premium items and is just taking the Star Bonus
and that is worst then i thought.

Please, if you have a few minutes - i listed nearly every premium item in my first post.
Sum up what you have, and give us 1 or 2 quests , and what you get from them.

FOr me all 70$ Quests give 73$, regardless of the quest and the char

I really really fell fooled when i noticed that i bought that stuff for cash, and do not get anything from it.

24h 1000 to 600, even if this is not 100% more, as written that is the lower problem.

For me the mayor bug is that the other prem items just do nothing...

I think EA didn't think we know how to do math. LOL I mean in this situation its an advantage to me because I have not purchased any donuts to get any big premium items. What I have in my springfield, 2 burning bushes were found and Homer's hanmock was a must buy. These already enabled me to earn approx 73 bucks for the Kwik-E-Mart tasks (seriously not possible, no matter what) which is the same as what people who bought premium items earn.

This is quite ridiculous. A few days ago I was just contemplating buying donuts, especially since there have been so many updates and the game seems quite stable (for me) now.

Scares me when I think about how much money, time and effort everyone has spent on this game. I mean...money can be earned back but time and effort...hmmm...

A couple questions- does the lemon tree give a bonus? If so, what? Also, is the bonus for the orange tree the same as the apple tree? Currently, the description for both just says "look out for vandals".

afaik: no bonus for the lemon tree, and Apple and Orange are the same

Yep, looked into this and you are correct. I should have an 18.65% increase but that would not appear to be what I am getting.

Here are my samples, all hour long jobs:
Apu, Quimby, Snake, Willie, Lovejoy, Grandpa - payout $70, should be $83, received $74 on each of them. I could not really calculate the other characters as they were all in the same place and all released at once. Definitely something is not right there.

To specify the above, I checked the amount of money I had before ending the quest for each of the above characters, noted the amount and noted the amount after the money went in. Also had totals for Frink, Duffman and Squeky Voice Teen, each of which says a $105 payout gives a $110 payout, but I am not sure if the bonus is on top of what they are already bonused at, if so than that is more incorrect math.

I had a monster friends list but my game went into crash frenzy so I had to cull my friends list (sorry to those I kicked) which cured my crashing.
Im lvl 21 with all the premium gear and some super cool things going on in my springfield.
I need to keep my friends list fairly limited so I'd like to friend only folks with decent springfields (which is why I ask here)
And no brown house farmers. :)

Please invite, the first one to find Moe in my town will be bombarded with bog roll and eggs!
