Having enough space on a device does not equal having the system requirements (processor and ram) required to run the game properly. It does not matter if a device is brand new. I can walk out of Wal Mart with a "brand new" low end Android phone that would struggle to run the game. If somebody asks for your specs that aren't necessarily fanboys but possibly trying to help figure out if you meet the requirements.
Yes, this game seems to have some issues. I can't compare since I recently started playing again. There are some fixes or workarounds out there if you search the forum. Or you can post more details if you notice a particular time it occurs and maybe somebody with more experience with lockups in the game can offer some suggestions.- Load game, 1 tap, froze, reload, 5 taps froze, reload, visit friends, froze :evil: Should rename this game Frozen except Disney has the rights :!:
- Willy9292Seasoned VanguardI play 2 towns, one on a Samsung Galaxy S5 and one on a Galaxy S3. The S5 rarely crashes, but is a huge town. The S3 crashes frequently on a significantly smaller town. The hardware seems to matter significantly. Iphone 4 users that are friends have some crashes - but 5 and 6 have less. Since land was added and SH added it seems the older devices struggle and lag more. Friends that were experiencing almost unusable crashes and lag seemed to find that a complete removal of the app and a reload from the store and then updates solved a lot of the issue. I found that when I had a year of updates and events and updates on I was lagging, and a wipe seemed to eliminate all of that. Just a suggestion.
- I am having the same issue, while it may be tied to the specific device, problems rarely occured before this event, which has been difficult.

Well, at least your name is appropriate. - I'm having these problems as well. Had to restart at least 6 times while trying to get through my neighbors today. then again several restarts just in trying to play normally. While I'm not as upset as the OP I ca certainly understand he annoyance.
- Not that this helps anyone, but I have only experienced one freeze on my old iPad, none on my phone, and none on my Android. I have seen Bart a few times, but that has been while I play on the train on my way to work, and definetively has mostly to do with tunnels and mountains, no EA. I have tried both with connected and not connected track pieces. Not lost donuts, and not had any real problems at all, this event. Thankfully, as I se there's been quite a lot of them.
I have not bought all land, though, and still no message about reaching the 4500 items limit, so that might also have some impact.
