Wait, people are saying you can turn it into donuts? Since when? Because I got a lot of game cash that just sits there collecting dust.
You must be new here
It's explained and discussed quite thoroughly in this thread

? That thread has nothing to do with converting cash for donuts. It just talks about the experience collider. Experience is not what I was talking about. I am well aware of getting donuts from leveling up...that isn't what I was talking about. People were talking about converting the game CASH for Donuts. Nothing to do with experience at all.
Well, the XP is the intermediary. You're right, there's no way to directly convert in-game cash into donuts, but all of the references to converting cash into donuts from this thread are referencing this.
Basically it's converting cash into XP, and XP into donuts through level ups. 1pillform wrote:

I don't think you read the thread.
You use cash to buy things that pay off a large amount of XP, which generates donuts. The collider helps you do this more efficiently. Basically, cash for donuts. Keep reading.- jukan00New SpectatorYeah dude, it's like whole threads about KEM farming. If you scroll down a little bit or go to the next page you'll see it.
I can confirm it seems to work.
Also, maybe I'm crazy but whenever they release limited time deco's for events such as the holo shrubs, etc I feel like they pay out more XP than usual. I bought like 800 of them and already was up to 600,000 XP without the collider! It only cost like 3 million? Idk, seemed cheaper than the KEM farms and way faster plus you can store them for later.
I'm also almost at 500% multiplier though btw. - anaquarindNew Spectator

Interesting... can anyone confirm this? That being said, I'm not sure I want to chain place hundreds of shrubs! I guess it depends on how profitable it could be. - jukan00New Spectator

It's super easy and with the new design/multi storage option, even easier to store them when you're done. - bluntcardNew Traveler
Doe's anyone have KEM guilt?
I mean aren't we contributing to the end of this game by not contributing financially?
Yes, I know many have contributed a lot of money at one time, but there really isn't any good reason except laziness to have to pay for donuts.
Is this game still making any money?
I know EA introduced the XP multiplier, but maybe it was a mistake, maybe it's being exploited, maybe we are digging our own graves. bluntcard wrote:

In my experience with this sort of thing there are always people who will spend real money even when it is possible to just farm in game and get them. For example an MMO: Guild Wars 2. You can buy gems with in game currency. Yet there are tons who are spending real money to buy them to buy the gem store content. I think if we were to look at all sorts of games with optional cash shop content you will find the same.bluntcard wrote:

My thought is that it's the casual players that spend more on donuts than those that are deriving real benefit from KEM farming. In order to be prosperous at KEM farming, I need a high conformity bonus. I'd love to know the strategy of a purely freemium player that has over a 300% conformity bonus. Embarassingly I've spent probably close to $300 on a game that just requires tapping and no skill. That's 5-6 console type games that cost exponentially more to develop and market. EA is not crying over lost profits on this one.- anaquarindNew Spectator

I think that the proportion of players that frequent this forum is a relatively small slice of the pie. How many regular users are there there, maybe a few hundred? And even people who come here not everyone knows or understands KEM farming. Of those few hundred only a fraction ever pay for donuts, and of those not all will necessarily change their spending practices. So how many have changed their spending practices based on KEM farming? Dozens, maybe hundreds?
And there is probably a much smaller population who don't come to the forums and figured this out for themselves, this number is probably negligible.
Bottom line is they probably lose much more revenue by a badly planned event or a buggy update, the kind of thing that makes users quit and uninstall the app.
