I'm getting this too. I have tons of curved and s-tracks that I will never use, and I'm getting only 1-2 straight tracks per week.This is a joke, right? Except they just made people pay 400 donuts for the railyard that makes almost nothing that's useful.

i think they messed up when they decided to make different track pieces.Every piece should be the same and when you rotate it after the piece rotates to the 4 possible alignments it then next rotates to the next style of track and so on.that way you would have a total number of track pieces and you can use each one any way you want.

I'm still working very hard to get the straight tracks. If I have enought straight tracks, I'm going to move my 4 monorail stations to the 4 corners of my town! :)

At least at this point we should be able to exchange track shapes. This week I hit the jackpot -- THREE pieces of straight track! C'mon, EA, either up the percentage of straight track pieces or let us exchange the curved ones for straight ones.

well i'm done earning track pieces for like another 4 days until it resets....so I should be able to pay money like we do for boardwalk tiles in the mean time. :?

A simple solution. Track exchange should be added to the rail yard. It should be simple enough to code and doesn't require the addition of anything except a new tab to the rail yard UI.

EA have obviously engineered it so that it takes much longer grinding to get enough track to make a decent monorail They know straight track is what we all want and need so they keep them scarce to make us grind more and more. I definitely agree with the comment about a track switcher at the rail yard though. That would make everybody happy.

Agree! It is sad that so many have expressed the need for long, straight monorail tracks, but the five weekly tasks still give curves, short tracks and waves almost exclusively. I was extremely disappointed to see the same old mix of lousy track pieces awarded in this week's Railyard jobs. Developers, have you seen the many, many posts requesting more straight tracks? Are you ignoring us? What is the motivation for giving these useless tracks? It's not as if we can purchase our preferred pieces with donuts! I just don't get it! :cry:

I have 30 curved tracks and 18 S curves in my inventory. They keep adding up.
