Thank you so much for hearing me out and escalating it to your specialist team instead of closing the case :)
It means a lot to me that you are willing to do your best to help me out after all.
Looking forward to hearing from you and having my problem resolved.

This really made me laugh   - I can't see how so many are having issues with ea. my partner sped up a tile when sp was first released, did the speed up animation, took her donuts, but no tile. We sent of an email to ea notifying them of the issue. Within 2 hrs we received a response with an apology and 15 donuts as a refund. We were quite satisfied by the quick response and compensation recieved. I know it's only 15 donuts, but she only used 4. So people don't forget this company has the whole world to cater for. Iam sorry you havnt expierenced the swift and great service I have, but iam sure they will sort it out. Good luck with it.
- mwdaltonNew SpectatorI've had to edit out the emails from EA out of the first post, with the permission of the OP.
Just a reminder to those that aren't aware, that it's against the ToS to post personal correspondence, including PM's between users, without consent from the other party. Paraphrasing the circumstances of the emails we could probably allow, though, just not copied and pasted.
On topic, it sucks that they closed your ticket without resolving your case, Utrolia, hopefully it can get fixed when you escalate it. :) Fingers crossed for you :) tyleerxo wrote:

I hope I didn't come across rude or annoyed by your attempt to help..
It's EA I'm upset with, not you :)
I hope you're right and that EA will finally listen to me..!
No worries, I understand perfectly well the need to vent. And I didn't feel the heat towards me, so it's all good. Sorry for my feeble attempt to give some help or consolation. But seeing as EA has set a specialist team on the case, I would believe it will get resolved soon. Good luck :)wwe8134 wrote:

I would believe that most of our daily struggles are related to what you call "First World Problems". You know, getting a job, work to earn money, so you can pay off bills and actually live in the World as we know it, is pretty much "First World Problems" too. Even if we share that struggle with people outside of the "First World".
Our advantage is that we have the potential to earn a little bit more, and can relax, or spend time on a hobby, when not at work. Then it's actually quite frustrating if we encounter an unforeseen problem we aren't responsible for. Espescially if we have had a hard day at work first. This often generates a lot of aggression if it can't be resolved quickly.
It isn't as serious as not getting enough food and water, or a safe place to live. But seriously, aren't people allowed to complain unless it's a matter of life and death? You must be the biggest push-over ever, if you never complain about anything, because you know of course, that your problems are classified as "First World Problems" too, and you do live by your "creed", right?tyleerxo wrote:

Yes, because it's so funny when other people has problems, and those problems don't affect you. So if anyone makes fun of those problems, you just can't help but laugh. I wonder what would happen if you suddenly got the same problem as utrolia... I bet you'd think: "Oh, I have a "First World Problem", how hilarious"...
Seems people of today really lack something called empathy...- I'm still waiting for my ghost bombs to become active. Since they were unlocked by the community they've remained greyed out and i haven't unlocked any additional bombs by tapping (which i know others have been able to do). We have recently unlocked the next community prize and had the level 36 update but this has not fixed this problem for me.
Apapretnly my case has been escalated but still doesn't work. I'm guessing they intend to drag it our another few weeks till the event is over, and hope that i go away. FluidEmotion wrote:
