Seems people of today really lack something called empathy...
FluidEmotion; You're now officially my hero!
Sorry, but I'm going have to agree with the people calling you out on your bs. Yes, I do have empathy that your game isn't working, especially during a special event with the opportunity to earn free donuts, however, you ARE acting like an entitled brat throwing a hissy fit because you didn't get your way nor did you get the response you expected when you expected it.
In the history of technology/video games - Tapped Out and the logistics behind getting the game to work across multiple platforms utilizing competing technologies is bound to have some issues for some users. Unfortunately, this time, it's you.
Things happen! Get over it. Move on.
Most people would voice their complaint, then go on with their lives and focus on their other interests/responsibilities. You yourself admitted that you have gone over the recommended number of items. What else have you done that goes beyond the recommendations? And then you have the NERVE to get upset and place all the blame on EA?!?!?!?! Sorry, don't buy it, time to grow up and take responsibility for what you did. Besides, that, you continually change the issue to make you look like the victim. What exactly is the issue anyhow?
Part of the problem with today's technological advancing society, everyone demands instant gratification and when they don't get it - they make sure that everyone else knows about it and ensures that there is h-e-double hockey sticks to pay.
It's time to put on your big boy/girl pants, accept the situation for what it is and wait for a response that will get your game going.
That, or continue to be upset, badmouth EA and everyone that disagrees with you and lash out at those trying to help you and continue to feel upset/angry/annoyed.
Me? I would prefer to turn off my game, go for a nice walk with my dogs and wait for the problem to resolve. One thing I can be sure of, the game will still be here tomorrow or the next day, etc. Sure, I might have missed out on some free donuts - but so what - in the great scheme of things, it is, after all, just a game.davidlwaite wrote:
Did you really expect EA to provide "Customer Service" I went through this at Valentines day with the freezing harp and another time back over a year ago and it was a quest would not appear, of course the solution was found here in the forum.
I actually got help from a third-party source when I had the harp glitch, EA was no help at all.- I skipped the comments entirely. I'd say they gave you the answer. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but they didn't cause the issue.
It still sucks, and I sympathize. ThomasNMn wrote:

You are clearly trolling. So my reply will be as short as possible, since I see no reason debating with rude trolls.
This forum is a place to discuss the game. This is my first negative post complaining. There should be room for complaining and not just praising the game without being called a spoiled brat.
If you had read the entire thread, you would have seen that me exceeding the limit did not cause my crashing issues as I've exceeded the limit a long time ago (because I take much pride in making my SF as beautiful as possible).
I have not mentioned how much I have exceeded the limit, and before my game started crashing I actually removed and stored a lot of my stuff.
I expect that a big money-making company like EA are able to provide their customers with good customer service.
This is something everyone who pays for a product expects in return. I've invested a good amount of money in this game, and I would hate to see them go to waste on a product/program that does not work.
(I have had several crashing issues before as well. Way before I exceeded my limit.. Several times)
You should go take a walk then!
Rather than acting like a rude brat on a forum.. ;)

Yes, of course, YOU ARE RIGHT!!(as always) I'm a troll, because I responded to YOUR post and telling you something that you don't want to hear - the truth.
Enjoy your day and when your game is working again, enjoy that as well. Lucky me, mine works - so It so I'm off to collect some free donuts.
:)- I had a thread on here that I showed EA's response to me not receiving donuts. Like Emmcee has posted a while back, they were extremely helpful, fixed the issue within hours and sent a very funny response to me.
Here it is:
Thank you for contacting us regarding your EA account. My name is Bronagh and I am one of the EA game specialists who can assist. From your case I can see that you have been experiencing issues with your game The Simpsons Tapped Out.
I have been lucky enough to locate Homer to see where he was at the time your donuts went missing. He has admitted that following a long "night " at Moe's tavern has was hungry. Marge didn't leave anything for him in the fridge and the closest thing to hand was your donuts. He apologizes that this has happened on 2 occasions.
After going through an additional check I have been lucky enough to gain early access to the local bakery in Springfield. In doing so I was able grab a fresh batch of 50 donuts and added them to your account. The bakery nearly caught me and they have since changed the access code for the side door so I was successful this time.!!!!
I hope you are able to purchase a few extra special things for your town with the extra donuts. If in the future you need any further assistance you can contact us directly. We will be happy to help in any way we can.
Thank you for your continued patience during this time. I hope you have many happy hours gaming along with Homer.
See you around Springfield !!
It is a shame you feel you were undervalued in your response, unfortunately with customer service you fall under the roulette of who responds. Some will listen and work for the correct solution. Others will spout the generic FAQ which you will have always tried.
I hope your issue does get fixed soon as with my experience with EA they do care and help where they can. HankScorrpio wrote:

read the entire thread. I actually wrote a comment about your EA-response:-) The one you just pasted in.
It got deleted (your thread/topic) and will probably be deleted again (read what the mod said.. also in this thread..)- What an odd rule of a forum. Users should be fully allowed to post emails, it's my correspondence, I can choose to share it.
There's no personal details there.
Anyway, hope you sort your issue soon. - I am really really sorry to read this thread Utrolia, I knew something was wrong every time I visit your town my game would freeze and would only let me tap one or two ghosts and crashed, ( I thought it was my device) now I see it's not.
All of your neighbors are experiencing the same? If so then I'm pretty shure it's their server.
Hope you get your town asp. vic147 wrote:

I don't know how good of friends you two are, but seeing as this person can get your town to load, if even for a minute, you may want to give them your login info and maybe have them store as many of your small decorations and stuff as they can.
