Who else is constantly crashing when visiting friends?

I was crashing during visits a LOT during phase one. I haven't crashed once during phase two. The elves have added a lot of lag when I first enter my town though. It takes 10-12 seconds after first entering before I can do anything. I'm on an iPad 4th gen.
