DEAR EA Sports UFC Team

Hello EA SPORTS UFC team

My name is Chingiz, I am a content creator and a long-time player of the EA SPORTS UFC franchise. I have been playing the series since UFC 3 and have a deep love for the game and its competitive side. I would like to share feedback and suggestions based on my personal experience and communication with the community, including players from Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

1 - At the moment, many players from Kazakhstan and nearby regions are experiencing serious issues with matchmaking in Ranked Championships. Finding a fight often takes 30–40 minutes, which makes competitive play almost inaccessible and significantly reduces motivation to play ranked. I hope that in UFC 6 the regional matchmaking system will be improved or server distribution adjusted for regions with lower player population.

2 - Cross-platform play between PlayStation and Xbox would be a major step forward for the entire franchise. It would greatly reduce matchmaking times, expand the competitive player base, strengthen the esports and content ecosystem, and create more opportunities for content creators. In the long term, this would benefit both players and developers by increasing engagement and game sales.

3 - Many players already compete in virtual leagues created within the community, such as the popular ESFL league. Currently, these leagues are forced to simulate their competitions using Quick Fight, which is very limiting. It would be great to see a dedicated in-game league or tournament mode in UFC 6, allowing custom rules, schedules, rankings, and divisions directly inside the game.

4 - There is a critical white screen exploit that has carried over from game to game since UFC 3 and has existed for almost 10 years. The issue occurs when a player leaves the game during replay viewing, causing the system to incorrectly think they are still in the previous match. This player can then enter another fight and trigger a white screen glitch for the opponent, forcing them to quit and lose Ranked PTS. Unfortunately, this exploit is still being actively abused, including by players currently in the top 10 of the global rankings, and as of January 29, 2026, it is still reproducible. Through communication with other content creators such as Romero and Prayoxis, it is known that there are multiple variations of this exploit. I strongly hope this issue will be prioritized and fully fixed, and that it will not carry over into UFC 6.

5 - I run the ChingizUFC channel and would like, like other content creators, to collaborate with EA by providing feedback, participating in testing, and helping to improve and promote the franchise. I truly believe that close cooperation with active players and content creators can positively impact the future of the EA SPORTS UFC series.

Hello LGND_UFC here I've played the UFC games since undisputed 3 really didn't get into till I played EA UFC 3 and one thing I've noticed that UFC 5 lacks that's become an issue is the stamina system. the game claims to be "real as it gets" but playing on UFC 5 I've noticed online players are able to throw over 100 strikes a round and at times land only 20 to 30 of those strikes making it low accuracy this alone should drain stamina but let's say round 1 they threw over 100 strikes but landed 20 that be very low accuracy percentage. they'll come in round 2 with nearly full stamina and the low accuracy is one thing but you also have to take into account the damage the player took in round 1 as well so more of a reason why stamina should have drained.  where this issue brings in another is the block break some players don't have technique and just try to spam the same strike countless times and yes head movement and counters can solve this issue but the problem is strikes and counters land clean and some how it doesn't do enough damage to stun the opponent or it doesn't make the opponent be at a halt for being countered instead the opponent can continue to press forward and eventually hurting the player by passing the block.     and as rounds go on the players block is completely gone and making it difficult to continue the fight and now the opponent who had just block breaked the entire fight wins the fight.   the answer to this is the stamina system if they keep throwing punches and were missing strikes and getting blocked their stamina should drain so yes they may get passed the block a few times but at the risk of completely draining their stamina and not being more technical.  counters need to have more damage and reward one counter that doesn't have enough damage is when an opponent throws a jab lead hand combo I block the jab and counter the lead hand with my own this does nothing and the opponent continues to walk forward throwing strikes another is the body kick when blocked and catching a kick the opponent is the one rewarded by being able to hit you while holding their leg back in UFC 3 if you ever caught a kick or knee you were rewarded if timed correctly you counter instantly with a lead hand and stun your opponent this would help the issue of players spamming knees and body kicks with no consequence.  the game needs to have more realism. in real MMA fights both fighters take their time in what most call feeling out their opponent cause they need to find reads, openings and creating set ups cause if they go out there recklessly there's too much risk of getting caught or being completely gassed. and when they're caught by a counter most of the time the opponent retreats and tries to reset they don't continue to walk forward cause usually when a fighter is caught with a counter and they're stunned and continue to try to work forward their strikes are much slower and they're more vulnerable to a ko. (if fighters didn't have the block break they would be forced to fight a technical fight a real fight where technique is need you'd have to find openings and reads and distance management cause throwing and missing strikes or being blocked will drain your stamina) I'm sure the block meter won't be removed but we need it to be balanced out players are taking advantage of the block meter and have no consequence and the elite dedicated players have to pay for that so if the stamina could be fixed it would help tremendously. players would love to have back to where you had truly manage stamina and doing do so you had to pick your shots and be defensive cause throwing too much would drain your stamina especially if your strikes were missed or blocked. but hope in ufc 6 we see this help cause one issue that is the stamina system and counter system could solve several issues thank you.

Thanks for the detailed post jdjrfwv0d4ho!

I'm sure you've seen it already, but our latest update can be found here, with more details on how far UFC5 has come and what's in store ahead. We'll have more to share later this Spring about what the team's been working on, thanks for the interest and feedback for the time being!

Just to touch on the white screen issue, we do have a thread here where that was brought up and passed along to the team, though I'm afraid we don't have any other updates at this time. We'll share any updates we do get and you can keep an eye out on the usual channels for other news as well.
