Stutters on initial track run, texture loading and compiling aside, I am concerned with the low GPU usage and framerate. When running on a 4090 on max settings I get 60-70% GPU usage causing frame rates as low as 50fps on max settings. enabling DLSS just lowers the GPU usage but does not affect the framerate. When the game is paused during a race, the GPU usage will jump to 99% and the frame rate jumps over 120. Issue is still persisting with using a ton of different graphic settings, DLSS, Views, Maps. No matter what I do the GPU usage while racing won't go over 70% usage and the frame rate suffers because of it. From the reply's I am seeing, maybe there is a driver bug for the 40 series. I am attaching a DXdiag, as well as screenshots from both of what I am taking about.

It's not just a problem with the 40 series.I have an Asus RTX 3080, and I'm also experiencing severe FPS issues.I don't encounter this issue in any other game.While playing WRC:CPU usage: 27%GPU usage: 64%FPS: 53-63It doesn't matter whether it's on ultra-low or ultra settings; the FPS remains the same, and there's stuttering.I'll probably remove this garbage, as this is an unplayable game…

@rdalcroft Same issue on all views, the GPU is just not being pulled. I can even turn on DLSS and it doesn't change. Only getting 60-70% GPU usage when game is running.I will admit that the framerate is better on bumper cam, over 100, but I am still only getting 60% GPU usage. When the game spins up the GPU to 100% the frame jump drastically. This happens when I pause the game, or momentarily when the race starts. After that the GPU usage drops again and the frame rate drops with it. Again DLSS, lower settings, nothing can get it to draw the power of the 4090. I think it's a 40 series driver issue, as @JG-skinny-racer 3080 doesn't have this issue.

@nike23osu Your post is not useful. There are several others here having issues with 4090 lack of GPU usage, and they are not all bottlenecked. The issue is a lack of optimization in the game. If you don't have an issue, or are not able to respond to the thread by reading, you just just sit it out.

I have a 4090 paired with a 3900x and my cpu is using 1 to 6% at any given moment and my GPU reaches max 60% usage (except when in menu) but my frames wildly vary from less than 30 FPS to 60 but I have not seen higher. Ultra everything and DLSS on balanced, nVidia surround though.And if I hit something or just go off the road and drive over rocks or something the game stutters like crazy.

It is not really a matter of opinion tho. While yes his processor is older, it is well within the recommended specs.Im running a Intel 12600k and a 4070ti and my cpu and gpu usage never exceed 50% in either chips.My graphics card isn't even "working" as it only gets to 50 degrees tops, while in nomal usage i'd see it go to 75 - 80 range.There is clearly an optimization issue. Same for another friend of mine with an 13600k and 3080. His usages never exceed 50% either.Especially with DLSS we should at least see some improvement. Even at Ultra Performance there are no gains from running at nativeAnd yes it runs smooth at max settings 1440p with DLSS Quality, but never over 65 fps, dropping to 40/30 in some ocasions (maybe shader compilation which lets be honnest its a terrible implementation. Do it at the startup of the game, not when im mid stage). But the game is clearly not taking advantage of all the horsepower I have.Another funny situation as the OP stated, my GPU usage increases when im in the menus, and I see the temps/wattage go up. Not what I'd say "normal".

Stop trying to run 4K at maximum settings with a 3080Ti and an ageing CPU.
Also turn car reflections to Ultra Low, see how you go.

you don't need to tell me what to run in 4K. I have all modern applications in maximum settings in 4K. WRC EA in ultra 4K settings goes very smoothly, and the next launch goes in spurts, then the next time smoothly again. That's the only problem! The WRC EA 2023 game has bugs! All other games and professional applications on my CPU work calmly and stably! This is your outdated processor,! You don't know what to say in essence, pass by!

I don't have stuttering problems with a 5800X3D and 7900XTX, when I adjust graphics settings accordingly.
Your hardware can't run this game smoothly at 4K Ultra, I don't care what you can do in other games and applications - completely irrelevant.
Yes WRC 2023 has bugs, that's not the question you asked. You asked "Does anyone have a solution to the problem?" and I gave you one.

It work!, but now crash, i have a R7 5800x (oc to 4.95Ghz), rx6700xt (oc too), i will try whitout the oc, this game never crash to me, but i aways have the issue with low fps.

If you run the long version, these slowdowns should go away after some time as shown in Jesse's graphs.

i have a similar issue but much worse with the textures and frame i tried getting a refund but they didn't accept my reason, so Im stuck with a lemon.

No, dude, this is just very important! Because you're lying and misleading me and others! My equipment is on the recommended list. Check out the official requirements for the game. They specify the RECOMMENDED processor - Core i5. And not even an i7. I have a Core i9. This is one of the best processors and it is on the list of recommended ones in excess. The recommended graphics card is RTX 2070. I have an RTX 3080 Ti. Both components are in excess! This AMD hardware of yours doesn't matter at all! Pass by, child!
