I can't Change the Death Box Skin of Beam Saber

I am experiencing an issue where I cannot change the Death Box skin that is bound to the Beam Saber and its color variants. No matter what method I try, I simply cannot equip a custom Death Box ...

Clicking on the deathbox's icon:

Selecting the deathbox that you want to use:

and then saving the changes by clicking on "save & exit":

Yes, I have tried this way, step by step. But when I finish all this and exit, the skin is back to default again. But this happens only to the Beam Saber. Change skins that bound to other heirloom is ok.
