Opponents quitting matches mid game in Seasons and winner not getting the win.

Title: Seasons Match Not Awarding Win When Opponent Quit.

Platform: PS5

Game Mode: Online Seasons

Issue:

When I am winning a Seasons match and my opponent quits before the match ends, sometimes in the first few mins after conceding a few goals. I am not receiving the win. The match either disappears or does not count correctly toward my record. People are using this glitch consistently to save their standings. This game has become a joke with all the scripting and unfixed bugs. If you cannot fix it yourself hire me for just a day, I’ll fix it and then quit!

 

Expected Result:
If an opponent quits while losing, the remaining player should be awarded the win.

 

Actual Result:
No win is awarded despite the opponent leaving the match.

 

Frequency:
This has happened multiple times and appears to be recurring and is a glitch most season 1 players are exploiting and is getting ridiculous.

Additional Information:

Please investigate whether players are exploiting a disconnect glitch in Seasons mode.

    Is this still happening for others? I just won 4 games in a row and none of them counted because the opponent left the match early. Like bruh every game ive ever played gives the leaver a penalty and the winners always get something

    This is happening for me still today. I just decided I won't play only anymore,  which means I also wont be buying future games, I will just stick with eafc26

    This happened today in 5 out of 6 matches.

    @EA,

    Why are you still not taking action? This issue has existed for far too long. If EA refuses to fix it, the company should refund all paying customers.

    Just posted about it, good to know I am not the only one. I am seriously considering quitting seasons and never buying another EA FC game because of this.

    This is happening in nearly half of the matches I play. Opponents quit while losing, the match does not count, and all the time and effort invested are completely wasted.

    EA, this issue is seriously affecting Seasons mode and needs to be fixed ASAP.

    To be honest this is totally unsatisfactory. It's a major glitch were players deliberately drop power off their console or quit game. The game no matter what minute is void. Needs addressed as the mode is unplayable at the minute as soon as you go a couple of goals up disconnect. I think it's spreading as other players get frustrated and do the same unpunished cheat. At present this is game breaking for seasons players.
