[PC] Gameplay extremely slow and controller not working in online mode

During the gameplay (online or offline) the game runs in slow motion and the games use twice as long to finish, while in online modes such as Rivals or Rush, sometimes I cannot even get past the loading screen to get into the game, it automatically counts me as disconnecting the game and penalises me for it. Even if I could get into the game, my controller inputs are not registered and the game would disconnect me for being inactive.
