Unlocked Icons & Heroes disappear as selectable players in career mode.

Hi,

I have been spending a lot of time and was going to purchase FC points to unlock ultimate packs for more icons in career mode.  I noticed some of my previous unlocked players are gone after I unlocked more icons and heroes in season pass. 

Fernando Torres, veron, and kluivert icons are gone? Is this a bug?

if I’m going to spend time playing ultimate team and career mode to unlock icons i thought they would remain unlocked forever even in offline career modes.  

can you confirm if icons and heroes I unlock will remain unlocked and transferable in career mode? 

One suggestion that I hope EA considers is making the unlocked heroes and icons available as free agents in the offline settings.  So if I go to offline settings, trade players EA can make an icons and heroes free agent area so users have the flexibility to transfer their favorite icons to various clubs that they choose offline.  As a fan it would be even more incentive to grind in ultimate team and purchase fc points to obtain and unlock these legends.

    Hello,

     

    im also missing: Fernando Torres, veron, and kluivert. Why is this ea? And why is it so unclear when and how to unlock heroes. It’s pretty hard to unlock them if you only play career mode and now I wanted to start a new career because I unlocked heroes and now these are gone. What I we fail to unlock a certain icon in a month, will he be forever gone, no more ways to unlock. 
    how do I get Fernando Torres, veron, and kluivert icons back???

    I'm having the same issue here, unlocked heroes, only to discover that the ones I have unlocked are gone.

    EA please explain why this is happening or fix the issue.

    I found out that those 3 were part of temporary icons. Somebody on reddit mentioned it.

    You can select them only in initial squads..they didnt transfer over to current squads, which is nuts. Should be a simple fix but taking way to long.

    The same thing happened to me with Bale and Ronaldinho, does anyone know why and if they can recover or not?

    From what I have learned is that the icons that I was missing, those were temporary. I guess it’s the same for your icons. EA should just release all icons from start.. it’s so annoying unlocking them. They should look at how NBA2k does things..

    for me what happend was, i was able to select the icons on the selection screen but after the setup when i went to the squad some of them were missing. i initially figured out that i had made some changes to the national squad and included those specific players in the national squad. so i reset all my squads and tried again, & it worked.
