EA anticheat preventing game from loading suddenly due to windows anti-virus

I've had issues with EA anticheat before causing the game to crash my pc, or do other weirdness. It seems like windows defender HATES it. I've reported multiple issues, but this one is preventing me from playing the game at all.

Now after showing the anticheat window my whole PC freezes for like a whole minute and the game doesn't load. Adding the game folder to be excluded from the anti-virus does not work. 

Last time it made a bunch of beep sounds.
