Ideas
Title. I have the game installed via the EA App and Steam with a fresh/validated install on both. The game launches into a black screen, plays the wheel noise, and then I get an error sound and my whole PC freezes on the black screen. If I want to do anything I have to hard power cycle my machine.
I am on the NVIDIA drivers released 3.24.26 on Win11. I've attached my dxdiag file as well.

Renaming the skate folder in %localappdata% let me launch the game flawlessly. Very annoying but glad that there seems to be a solution. Will continue to update if this stops working.
