Vanilla test game. No mods. No CC. My Sim can't place a jelly fish on the ground to spawn the jelly butterfly. It keeps saying: More time needs to pass before more Jelly Butterflies can be summoned....

New TS4 folder. New Sim. No CC. No mods.
Thursday: First time catching a jellyfish. Everything worked fine.
Saturday: More time needs to pass before more Jelly Butterflies can be summoned.
Thursday. One week later. "More time needs to pass before more Jelly Butterflies can be summoned."
So, it seems to be one and done. No amount of time is long enough.
If one plays with multiple Households, they can't catch the Jelly Butterfly.
