My sims can’t do a spinning class at Fitness Fest because the instructor is stuck in a loop of mounting and dismounting the instructor’s bike. This is a brand new save and this is the first time the festival is happening in this save. I disabled mods and reset both the instructor and the instructor’s bike and it is still happening.

I am on Mac. I was able to get it to work eventually on a clean folder, but I had to assign an instructor for the class and it took 3 cycles of setting the instructor then ending the class for the class to actually start. With the instructor who was already there, I’m not seeing a way to join a class that they’ve already started.
Do you have to re-do this with each fitness fest now ? Don't think you should need to assign a instructor at the fest.
Community ManagerThe first day I tried (my sim traveled to the neighborhood with the festival around 2PM), there was a “Festival Goer” on the instructor’s bike and 2 “Spinning Class Member"s and a “Festival Goer” on the other bikes. I had the options on the bike to choose an instructor for a spinning class or teach a class myself. Then, after about 1.5 hours, a spinning instructor showed up. There was no option when clicking them to join the class, and when I clicked the instructor’s bike, the “Spinning Class…” option was greyed out, saying “There are no available Sims to teach Spinning Class."
I had my sim stay overnight for the next day’s festival. The spinning instructor showed up around 10AM, and there was still no option to join her class. When clicking “Spinning Class…” on the instructor’s bike, it only gave me the option to teach a class myself.
So yes, this is still the case.
Ok, so I bought adventure awaits yesterday, this is my 2 or 3rd time trying to make some simoleans from leading a spinning class.... The selected Sims gather round.......and that's about it, standing near bikes, sometimes they get on but just sit there... Ive obviously not changed the layout from the default event as I can't edit the area...
Playing on PS5....no mods/cc of course just the plain standard game :) also, it's a fairly new save as I created this just as I bought royalty &legacy, only 2 households played in this save
