I removed all mods a few expansions ago, I put on freebuild and now I can't remove it and I cant send my sims on a getaway.
I'm on my Lenovo Laptop with Microsoft 11
I don't know where to find the DXDiag, and weirdly there is no lastcrash.txt folders... But I also have all of my sims saved to an external hard drive
seems something went wrong with the instructions :D
Try this.
- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post
No errors for the game have been reported in the DxDiag.
Did you run a game repair?
The reported errors are Windows problems that might have to do with this problem, so lets start there.- Hit Windows key and X.
- Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
- Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter (copy and paste) “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
- If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found repeat steps 1 & 2.
- Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter (copy and paste) “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
- The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
- After it reaches 100% repeat steps 1 & 2.
- Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter (copy and paste) “sfc /scannow” without quotes > ENTER.
- Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here.
