[AA] Getaways have ghosts in roles despite 'no occult' settings

I set no occult Sims as host or participant in the pre-built Romantic Elimination challenge because I keep getting 50% or more ghosts for getaways. Ghosts still appeared for 4 of the 8 participants.

Could it be that the bug is happening because this is an older save where the original townies are dead?

Problem discovered on Mac with no mods. I have all packs except Enchanted by Nature & Bust the Dust.
