[AA] Getaways have ghosts in roles despite 'no occult' settings

I set no occult Sims as host or participant in the pre-built Romantic Elimination challenge because I keep getting 50% or more ghosts for getaways. Ghosts still appeared for 4 of the 8 participants.

Could it be that the bug is happening because this is an older save where the original townies are dead?

Problem discovered on Mac with no mods. I have all packs except Enchanted by Nature & Bust the Dust.

Yes this happens to me too.
And I can't even manually pick non-ghost sims necessarily because of that 2-year-old bug where ghosts aren't greyed-out. Very frustrating.
B&H had a similar bug when it was first launched.
Mac, no mods.
Non-occult sims as required criteria, but ghosts are showing in the Assign Sims list.Ghost occults still showing as pickable.Note Bjorn and Clara have died of old age but I can't tell from this menu if I'm manually assigning sims to role.
