Issue Description:
During the Fitness Fest event introduced in the Adventure Awaits expansion pack, NPC Sims show up wearing their regular athletic clothing instead of the costumes that the event theme suggests on Wednesdays. The Fitness Fest is described as a fitness-themed getaway event where participants are expected to dress in themed costumes, but NPCs fail to apply the correct outfit category and instead default to their everyday athletic wear.
Expected Behavior:
NPC Sims attending Fitness Fest should spawn wearing themed costumes appropriate for the event (similar to how Sims at other festivals wear costumes or themed outfits), not their standard athletic wear.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Install The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits expansion pack.
- Travel to the Fitness Fest event on Wednesday.
- Observe the NPC Sims that spawn at the event location.
Actual Result:
NPC Sims appear in their regular athletic clothing (whatever their athletic outfit is set to in CAS). They do not change into costumes or special event-themed attire.
Additional Notes:
- This appears to be an outfit category assignment bug specific to the Fitness Fest event.
- Related to broader NPC outfit issues seen in other packs where Sims fail to wear the correct outfit category for events (e.g., festivals, parties) .
- May also be related to the game prioritizing the "Athletic" outfit category over a "Costume" category that may not be properly assigned for this event .
- Does not affect the player-controlled Sim if manually changed into costume attire.
