[AA] Sims interrupting activities to use paper airplanes

It wouldn’t be so bad if they could be sold from a Sim’s inventory like every other papercraft, or dragged to a trashcan, but the fact that they can only be sold in build mode is really annoying. I’ve been playing with a full household and they’re all over my lot, and when I follow my teens to school, they’re all over the school too. I’ve resorted to using Testing Cheats so I can right click and destroy them.

Don't know if there is already a thread for this specific item, but my Sims are obsessively flying paper airplanes, and I also don't even know where the planes are coming from...

Could you send your save to EA as per instructions in the first post.

I had this issue, and now my game got a LastException on it right before it froze up, and then, I tried to set to save the game, and it didn't perform, so I used End Task on it, and let it go (so no save file). I got the phantom paper plane that you can't delete unless you use build/buy. It's a papercraft LastException, but I don't know if this file discusses the spoken of issue specifically, but I think it fits here the best of the existing list.

I got tired of the kid stopping what I've asked of him to fly the planes he made, and then, this new one came after, so I got it gone too. I was using the experimental Memory Boost for this game, after initially creating a New Game and saving it as regular before the session today (several days in this fresh save game).

The second link is what happened before the one focused on the paper crafts. The third, for kicks, was the last straw on that previous game run for me. I cleared several caches between the previous run and wasn't running memory boost (which seems to improve aspects of the game performance generally) and this game run. I stopped running mods and cc some time ago.

Don't know if any of this helps, but the issues have been annoying. I cleared all previous saves except the new game run and the last of the previous. But I lost a lot of progress today and couldn't save properly at the time of freeze.

there’s a fix, meanwhile this needs more info, incredible.

Maxis didn't tune papercraft airplane autonomy at all. There you go. 5 months and counting, Maxis developers should be ashamed. Thanks sims4me
