[AA] Sims unable to go to work/school due to scheduling issue

Yes, I'm having this issue as well. Sent children in my main family to camp, came home children and adults won't go to work or school. Says 2 days for the children and one adult, and 4 days for the other adult. After a day had passed the second adult changed from 4 to 7 days. I tried repairing the game. I have no mods installed. I don't think I have any earlier saves for my main family and won't want to keep playing until this is fixed. I don't want to lose my main family either. I will see what happens if I quit jobs. 

Update - Was able to quit a job and start again with one adult. They were then able to go to work, but there's no way to reset the kids. At some point the length of time until school increased from 2 days to 4 days. 

Jan 4 2026 Testing: opened a New Game & New Sim.  Placed her in a house and gave her a job.  The timing countdown worked as it should and she went to work.  Did not see a Go To Work button in the Career tab.  

Left the New Game and opened my Legacy Game where the go to work/school glitch is happening.  

1. Gave the child an after school activity.  She will go to Drama Club on time but will not go to school.  The school countdown is frozen on 2 days and it's Wednesday in game.
2. Sent the child to Camp Gibbi, again. This time it worked. Camp activities and camp's time schedule normal.  Returned home and the school countdown is still frozen. 
3. Parent's career countdown is frozen on 4 days.  She hasn't been to work since the glitch started. 

Not sure what to do. The child will age up in 3 days. If she can't go to High School rabbit hole (I don't have the High School pack) it messes up her stats and her mother's aspiration to have an A student.  

Guess I could clear cache files manually and reverify the files again.  

Update Jan 9 2026
On Jan 6 or 7 Aged up child to teen hoping it would reset the school "clock".  It didn't. 
THEN on Jan 9 I noticed the countdown for school started again!  I stayed on the lot until she autonomously went to school.  YAY
Still broken - adults not going to work. Their countdown is still frozen on 3 or 4 days. The boss doesn't call. They are still employed.  I had one sim quit her job that was frozen.  Next will have her get a new job and see if the countdown works. 

Jan 3 2026  PC  - I've sent several children to Camp Gibbi previously with no problems BUT, this time I set up the camp event and something glitched when I tried to send the child.  I got a loading screen then the lot opened back up to her home, not Camp.  She never traveled to the camp.   

1. Later, I noticed that she didn't go to school on Monday. 
2. Opened the Career tab and the Go To School button was missing.
3. Shows "goes to school in 2 days"  and that never changes.
4. Adults in the same household also have frozen work schedules and missing Go To button.  

I left that household, opened another and the second household's Career tabs look the same. 
I did clear cache thru the EA app and verify files.  Reopened and the problem still exits.   

A bit more info and troubleshooting/workarounds I've done:

• I have no Mods/CC currently installed
• TL;DR: this issue seems to be starting only once kids go to children camps; as a workaround I can resign from careers and start new ones in my main save and all families. Which is sad cause I've been playing with multiple generations and 10+ families in that save
• I have also noticed that my Sims are no longer capable of fulfilling their needs even tho free will is enabled. This starts to causing an issue cause I've been playing with big families and I can't leave any Sim on their own cause they will go to the point when they're about to die from hunger, can't go to sleep, pee etc. on their own 

Main save: Main Family

• After installing AA I took my teen on a gateway: children camp as a teen worker. Teen came back home, everything worked as expected
• Then I took a child from this family to a children camp and this issue started: child, teen and adult seems were unable to go to school or work afterwards. Time flies and they only see "work/school in 2/3 days"
• I took adults and teen from this family to random gateway - issue persisted
• I needed to ditch all careers and start from the start as a workaround
• The issue comes back as soon as child comes back from gateway

Main save: Different family

• I took adults of sports gateway: during this time the rest of the family continued going to school/work. When gateway finished, all sims were going to school/work as expected
• Then I took child to a children camp and noticed that rest of the family stopped going to school/job, seeing the same message "school/work in 2/3 days". The child came back home and surprisingly was going to school as expected, leaving rest of the family in this error. Other kids grew up and continued going to school but all adults stayed in this limbo

Different save: Different family

• Took one adult to sports gateway: everything working as expected
• Took child to children camp: everything continued to working as expected
