Are you referring to the mixer that came with Home Chef Hustle?
I don't know why they include it. It doesn't make anything a Sim might eat autonomously. It just make's ingredients.
Yes. The tooltip says the Sims are supposed to use it. I was thinking for a cooking competition, they would use it to mix dough for pizza.
My feeling about all the things included in Getaways (and to lesser extent Clubs and SB) is that no thought was given to whether the object/activity would actually work autonomously in the those circumstances.
I get it that testing every object or activity and the combination there off would be close to impossible, but one would think that there'd be a database of some sort to refer to. At the very least a basic "autonomous" vs "not autonomous."
I think the Stand Mixer is best being: not autonomous. I wouldn't want endless prepped veggie. Why it was included with things a Sim might use on a Getaway is a mystery to me.
However I have no insight into how games work under the hood.
