[BH] Business open when visiting as guest after visiting as customer

oh and BTW, the broken business is in San Myshuno, but I have others in Newcrest (bowling alley in the upper corner), Moonwood Mill (blue building on the formerly empty lot), and Chestnut Ridge (the very large formerly open lot) if you wanted to compare

I just did some more testing myself, after realizing the timing seemed to line up with visiting it as a customer, and went  to the save where it was still ok, and visited it as a customer, stayed for an hour or so, went back home and then visited the household. And it broke. So visiting as a customer was the trigger. I did the same with other small business lots, and the same thing:

It's just that this comedy club is the one that has a real reason for visiting as a cusstomer, because it is super good for skill training, so it's the one that broke first. the others are either something i visited quite a while ago, or are just not something that's fun or useful to visit as a customer, they're more for the business owner to play, so i never had a reason to visit as a customer.  The weird thing is, I have done this before, with no issues, but now it seems to break the business, so it might be a new bug. But I am going to quit right now and test going to businesses without mods to make sure it was not a mod that broke it. btw. I have also been noticing while visiting the household, and getting the weirdly open thing, that it's begun spawning customers that do not match the business rules. Lots of toddlers and pets spawning when the business does not have dependants as a target customer, and do not spawn when running the business. also gotten weird special sims like Temperance, Edith, Bonehilda, Greg, and (alive in my game for some reason, but he's been that way since the start) Captain Whitaker in this screenshot, that i have never seen when playing as the business owner. 

OK, yeah this is without mods, and it broke after visiting the lot as a customer. Tried again with the bowling alley  just to make double sure, and same thing. I can visit the household just fine UNTIL i visit their business as a customer, and from that point forward, their business is always open when I try to visit the household. So I think there may be a new bug, not a one off glitched stuck trait or something, this is repeatable. But is hard to notice organically unless you visit both the business and household, and may only really happen for rotational players (tho there are still the ones in Nordhaven). But it would be nice to have you and maybe others with their own saves confirm it, and i may have to just rebuild my progress over the past little while and remember to not go to businesses as a customer.

I have the same problem, and it's definitely a new problem. One of my sims relatives runs a business on her home lot, and until recently I was able to visit as a guest as well as a customer. Now the business is always open even when I arrive as a guest. My sims will mostly do the business activities rather than regular guest activities, too. 

It was also previously possible to hold dinner parties on small business residentials just like on normal residentials, because the business would be closed (I did that a few times on Winterfest). This most recent Winterfest, all the party guests except for the children and the toddler had to buy the entrance tickets at the ticket kiosk to be able to enter the house and partake in the party, and then most of the NPC guests didn't go into the private areas but kept to the business areas and the garden. I had to move the festive tree into the yard so everyone would actually come light it together. And because the business was open, random NPCs constantly came to talk to the party guests or tried to eat the food. I have held the same party on the same lot with the same sims before and this was never an issue. 

Same here, after first visit as guest of the household. The next visit i can't visit the household anymore. I can only visit the business.
