If we use Secret Spice perk on max quality food that meal can't be able to eat - sim reset to T-pose for moment after grab plate, and Last Exception show up:

Any time I direct a sim to eat, they reset and drop the interaction and I get a last exception. They can still eat food that was already in the fridge from before the bug started occurring. I tested this with the 50/50 method until there were no mods left but the bug kept happening even when I had taken out all of my mods.
