If we use Secret Spice perk on max quality food that meal can't be able to eat - sim reset to T-pose for moment after grab plate, and Last Exception show up:

I noticed that if I bake something (in this case, fruit cake) and add the secret ingredient, the Sims will t-pose and reset instead of picking up a portion of the cake. It seems to affect also taking a portion for eating, so the cake is useless. My sims luckily sell baked goods, so I can probably sell it as a whole still, but it's annoying.
All Expansion packs, all Game packs and Stuff packs except Journey to Batuu. All Kits except Incheon Arrivals, Bust the Dust, Fashion Street, Modern Menswear, Urban Homage, Party Essentials, Refined Living Room and Sweet Slumber Party.

Does it matter which food you make ?
It seems to be affecting only baked foods (so pies, cookies etc). I made fish tacos and tried the "add secret spice" and it didn't bug, so I could take a plate as normal (I have a video again). I was about to try it on the pie also but it greys out and says that "you need to wait a bit to use this again."
I haven't used the spices enough to be sure what option is actually the one to use the curry, wasabi etc. Are you supposed to be able to use them if they are not in the played sims' inventory? I took them out and gave them to another sim when I used the "add secret spice" on the pie. The spices were in his inventory on previous tries, so that didn't have any impact.
