If we use Secret Spice perk on max quality food that meal can't be able to eat - sim reset to T-pose for moment after grab plate, and Last Exception show up:

I see my post got merged. However, I did NOT use the secret spice perk on the food. The quality of the dish is 'impeccable' though. I am able to grab a serving from an excellent dish. Maybe the title of the original post should be edited to 'Can't grab food from impeccable meal' ?
