Whenever my sims attempt to eat faux BLT, whether it be on the counter or using the “get leftovers” button on the fridge, they end up resetting. I am playing on a MacBook Air M2 2022.

does your sim have the secret spice perk ?
If not, could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
I did have some CC installed, but after removing it my sims still experienced the same glitch. It happens to all of the sims in the household and none have the spice perk so I don’t think it is about their traits/perks. Interestingly, I started a new game with a new sim to see if that would fix it and it worked in that save, but it’s still broken in my original one.
Is it just the faux BLT ?
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
