I can't work out how to update the entry post sorry, I can only see where to edit comments or add tags!
The newer bug I had (re: not being able to check in at the kiosk) can be replicated if you switch to the household of a sim who is already currently visiting the small business, but appears unrelated to the acting lecture.
I was able to finally hold and attend a successful acting class. So the patch seems to have fixed #4. The instructor would not take the lecture.
I also haven't noticed sims autonomously doing incorrect activities re: #3.
Re: points #1 & #2 though, acting should at least be able to be mentored at the microphone and mirror like comedy/charisma (it would be great if you could mentor while performing a scene too), and "practice acting" or "perform scene" should be a class task.
