[BH] Ghosts appear despite banning occults through target customer

Ghosts will no longer attend Small Businesses unless they are set as Preferred or Required customers under the Occult Target Customer category.

im having the same issue and im tired of kicking them out

There's always ghosts in my shop though they have never caused any trouble that I've noticed. I have pottery everywhere; they've never broken any.  One even fixed the broken sink in the bathroom once. Every now and then a flirty or playful one will cause everyone to get flirty or playful. 

Wonder if it has to do with the alignment of your store. Mine is virtuous but I noticed in a let's play by James Turner where he was running a "schemer" store that the ghosts in his shop (and customers and employees) were particularly unruly. 

Commenting to say I also have this issue where I have set literally every other occult to be able to visit except for ghosts yet I have minimum 3 show up per "shift opening" (as in I just run the day for at least 8 hours). I have followed most of what OP has done except the "no ghosts" sign.

I haven't tried the "Target Customer" selection but have multiple of the "No Ghost Allowed" signs from Life and Death and they still show up. I have mods enabled but use MCCC to "Make Sim Leave". 

I'm wondering if since the ghost update they aren't considered occults anymore as I also had the issue where ghosts appeared despite choosing non-occults as a required preference.

What else is interesting is that if you look at Club Requirements from Get Together Ghosts still appear on that list in the occult section but not in the Small Business menu.

Out of curiosity, does everyone here having the issue also own Life & Death? It may be an issue with the changes to ghosts through the pack 🤔

Also tried same as OP by editing criteria and ghosts still spawned. 

I have the same issue. Ghosts keep visiting my business even though they aren't allowed to and I have lots of townies who are alive.
