The skill level make the sim-employee able to play music with dj booth, so the sim-employee without experience can just make practice, until level 2, but I did not see any other differences related to skill level.

1. Start a Business
2. Place a DJ Booth
3. Hire an employee
4. Tell them to DJ
5. They don't DJ

I'm experiencing the same situation, but I have some doubts: in some tests I have made, when the employee is part of the household everything seams to work fine, or at least better.

It would be just for testing to see if you see the same as mean.

Doesn't matter I guess though.

I would test it but it's unrelated to the issue and I don't want it as a business activity, just an employee task lol 

Mine won't use it either if I don't set it as business activity. 

Can you test if that would work. Bit unsure about this but one would think it should work as employee.

I played a bit last night and as soon as I opened up the business my employee spawned and ran to the edge of map and left.
