- I have tried both scenarios, with and without mods.
Issue
Either mannequins were not meant to be a part of the Business and Hobbies pack usage, or they are missing a key element which allows customers to buy from them.
#1 Add clothing to mannequin. This includes dressing or using homemade clothing.
#2 place on lot - either purchased small baseness or home business lot
#3 The only interactions available are to browse and buy or try on outfits. Neither results in a sale.
#4 Tried without and with mods. Neither scenario works.
Experimentation/Different things I Tried
#1 Mod which allows me to place mannequin on any surface
#2. Using any surface mod: Dressed using regular clothing. Customers looked like they are browsing but never buy.
#3 Using any surface mod: Dressed using knitted outfit. Customers looked like they are browsing but never buy.
#4 Using any surface mod: Undressed mannequin. Customers browsed; customers bought whole mannequin.
Thoughts:
- Without mods, mannequins are ignored except for trying on outfits. No sales available.
- With the mod, I sold one whole undressed mannequin per shift on average
- Customers only purchased the whole undressed mannequin with the mod
- It seems the mannequin is missing the important allow sales/price modifier options for small business.
- There is also the possibility that mannequins were never meant to be used in small business, however that would be very sad if so. I made some really cute items.
- I would also love to sell wedding dresses/accessories (it should cost of money to dress mannequin) in my small wedding bakery shop.
