Building Since Business &Hobbies sometimes I will be working on a plain ol' residential lot and then out of no where a million tiny pink outline lines come up as if I am building on a business lot. I cant even see it's blinding so many neon lines. I can't stand this. Please fix it.

I’m building on a regular residential lot, then if I exit to manage world and then go back into build mode (same lot), that is usually when those pink outlines show up. I have to manually change it from ‘public’ (pink outlines) to ‘residential’ (blue outlines) and then toggle the outlines off again. Then if I build new rooms, they will show as ‘public’ (pink) and then I have to manually change those too.
It’s been a issue since ‘Business and Hobbies’ were released.
This happens to me too on Xbox, I don’t have business & hobbies or for rent
I went to move the lot and the pink lines immediately reappeared, so my current guess is that might be a trigger.
I'm currently building a restaurant, and the pink Businesses and Hobbies lines showed up while building it. Because it's not a residential lot, there's no option to turn off the lines in the build mode UI. As far as mods, I have default skin and eye replacements, as well as the OMSP shelf, but no script mods.
Changing back to residential immediately removed the lines visually, and when I changed back to a restaurant they stayed gone, even when I added a new room. So luckily there appears to be at least a temporary fix.
leucosiax Hello! This happened for me but only when I tried to move the lot so I'm not sure if it's the same as what you've reported. At any rate, I wanted to share the video I got in case it helps the devs to figure out what's happening here.

it’s been happening to me too, with no mods or cc and on pc. it basically looks like if you have the businesses and hobbies pack but you can’t turn it off
Hey! I was minding my business in build/buy mode when I noticed this weird pink outline around my front patio. Tried making it not a room by deleting a wall, replaced the fences, checked if the wallpaper was cc (it sometimes makes weird effects if not set up right), which it was not. I wondered if it was a for rent glitch, since I have that pack, even though the lot type was a regular residential. I went to switch it to residential rental, and I got a pop-up telling me that (paraphrased) "business areas are not available in some lot types."
I don't own Businesses and Hobbies. I didn't assign a room in residential mode, and I don't know why I'm getting popups and uncontrollable features from a pack I don't even have.
For reference, this could be a cc thing? The only things I can think of that might cause this is Tmex's Better build/buy and TOOL mod, which I have downloaded as my only build/buy mods. Has anyone else had this problem, and do you have those mods installed if so, or not? I'll try to include some screenshots from my game. I would replicate it without mods but I can't seem to get the lines back to test it.

So, I am getting these random and annoying pink lines on my build mode buildings. I searched it and learned there's a toggle for this, but I don't have the toggle people are talking about and I don't have any of the newer expansion packs (Last I bought was cottage living). Is this a glitch or is there something I'm missing?
