Call keeps dropping due to off grid when lot is not off grid

Had this issue on Oasis Springs without mods. 

There are no traits or challenges on the lot.

having this issue as well in willow creek. I dont have off the grid equipped either. 

anything came out of the investigation 2 months ago? is this fixable?

Happening to me in Del Sol Valley, new save, in the Bailey-Moon mansion. Keep getting bad reception moodlets, no OTG lot trait. Only "off-the-grid" related thing I've done is add solar panels to the roof.

I'm not sure if it's the off-the-grid moodlet, but nevertheless bad reception moodlet I get pretty much every time my sims call someone. Happens regardless of lot, world, or sim. Most recently happened to an adult sim in Fashion District in San Myshuno. I'm using a pc and my game's set in Finnish (the translation might be a bit different which is why I'm not sure if it's the same off-the-grid moodlet).

I came here to report this exact issue - it is beyond annoying at this point, happening in every save. I’m normally patient with this stuff but it’s adding up and putting me off the game. 

From other reports I've seen related to moodlets appearing even if tests should prevent them from hapenning, I suspect there is something wrong related to Random Weighted Loot. I don't see mistakes in the tuning from this one (RandomWeightedLoot: randomWeightedLoot_OffTheGrid_PhoneUse) so there might be something else at stakes here. Maybe the root cause of that should be investigated ?

I got this glitch today, I am modless and cheatless in this gameplay.
I have fast internet.

I also encountered this bug recently - I'm on PS5, so no mods or cc can be causing it, and it was happening before the update for console yesterday (23/9).

Is there any update or acknowledgement about this?
