When trying to build an underground level on the Comfortably Canalside lot in Nordhaven, the camera won't go to the lower level as expected. See the video attached. The only way to go down is to use TAB mode, but that's an issue for gameplay as you can only see things from above.
Tested without mods, I also asked if other people were facing that issue and they confirmed it.
I think I already faced this issue on the Larry's Lagoon lot in Britechester.
The lot is empty. Build something on it that can have a basement. A couple of walls will do.

I don't get your answer 😅 I did this video to illustrate the issue on a new save with the default lot, in my own save I built something here that has a basement and I have those camera issues
The same problem happen on most lots (haven't tested all) in nordhaven, you have the same bug in the cocktail bar with the basement, impossible to zoom, and sound is muffled (which is kinda ironic since it's the music room)
Having the same problem atm, on the Crannamor residental in Everdew (new area in the enchanted by nature pack). Buildt a hobbit hole house but can't go downstairs with the camera... It sucks
I'm also having this issue on Crannamor Residential, figures the one lot I was most excited for lol. That's what I get for digging down into the tree?
I play on an Xbox Series X & the last 2 expansion packs the camera doesn’t work properly in basements. That’s both Insagreen & Nordhaven. It works fine in all the old expansions.
please fix it. You can’t even get close enough to your sims to be able to hear them talk. It’s ANNOYING!
You should check out each individual town, there’s a few I haven’t checked to see if basements work yet like in, Ravenwood, & Ciudad Enamorada. Tamarang worked fine.
