Ideas
Homescreen loaded just fine, hit resume playing and it went to another loading screen. Cycled me back to world selection which I thought was weird but tried again only to be endlessly looped. I cant load any households and can't play the game at all. This is the most frustrating experience, how do you even fix this?

Same here, no mods. The only game that releases updates that slowly but surely will make the game completely unplayable
I'm having the same issue. There is a thread on the Bug Report forum about it with some suggested fixes/troubleshooting tips. Seems like a lot of people are having the issue, but not everyone has been able to fix it the same way. I removed mods, deleted the localthumbcache file from The Sims 4 folder and when that didn't fix it, I tried repairing the game through the EA App. That just finished, so we'll see if that fixes it.
