After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top...

After using Basment Tool to create a basement, Build And Buy will then become unusable. You cannot build stair to the basement (they will not place, and you can't see stairs just the green outline), and then there is a lag in placing objects. When trying to place objects, after building a basement, the object can be grabbed and placed but not moved. Once item is being moved, it cannot be released and placed back on the lot. After basement is created, game cannot be saved and you have to force quit Sims 4 without saving.
