After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top...

When I go into build mode on the Sims 4 and click on an item to place it, if I decide I no longer want to place the item and click B to go back, it doesn’t work. I thought it was my controller at first, but the B button works any other time I try and click it except for when i’m build mode. I’ve tried restarting my Xbox, restarting the Sims and restarting my controller but nothing has worked. I’ve had this bug for over a year now and made a forum on it about 11 months ago but I still haven't figured out how to fix it or what’s going on.
