Cant place/Delete items in Build mode

After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top...

Hi,

Yesterday I bought the new expansion pack, Sims 4 R&L and I can't use build buy mode (pc user).

For exemple, if I want to delete an item, it doesn't delete, if I want to buy a new item and put it in the lot, it disapear when entering it, can't change foundations, walls, etc

I'm only able to play the game, if using the lots available without being able to change, buy or delete in build mode.

I don't have mods, and have almost all the expansion and game packs.

If this bug isn't fixed, I will no be able to enjoy the game, I love to build and will give up on sims.

is there anything I can do?
